Paperbark Lodge

Paperbark Lodge invites you to slow down, settle in and enjoy the quiet beauty of the bushveld. Spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully designed, the lodge is centred around a beautifully appointed main lodge where guests can gather, cook, dine and relax together.

The main lodge features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and welcoming lounge, all opening onto a large deck with views over a nearby watering hole. It is the perfect spot for morning coffee, relaxed outdoor meals, sunset drinks or simply watching the wildlife come and go. A private swimming pool and generous outdoor relaxation areas complete the experience.

The main lodge also includes a charming loft bedroom furnished with one king-size bed and three single beds, with an en-suite bathroom featuring a toilet, basin and shower.

For guests wanting extra privacy, Paperbark Lodge offers three stand-alone Private Bush Suites. Each suite is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin, bath and outdoor shower. Two chalets also include a single sleeper couch, making them ideal for families, children or small groups travelling together.

Set within the privately owned Thaba Nare game farm, each lodge offers guests a secluded bushveld retreat with space, privacy and a true sense of escape.
